§ 34-13-6 Recording of certified copies.– If any instrument has been recorded or filed by a city or town clerk, orrecorder of deeds, in the manner prescribed by law, a copy thereof dulycertified by the proper official may be recorded or filed in the office of anycity or town clerk or recorder of deeds, wherein the original might properlyhave been recorded or filed, and, when so recorded or filed, shall have thesame effect as a recording or filing of the original instrument.
