SECTION 34-18-42

   § 34-18-42  Landlord liens – Distraintfor rent abolished. – (a) A lien or security interest on behalf of the landlord in the tenant'shousehold goods is not enforceable unless perfected before the effective dateof this chapter, except as provided in § 34-18-50.

   (b) Distraint for rent is abolished.
