SECTION 36-14-10

   § 36-14-10  Educational powers of thecommission. – (a) The commission is hereby empowered to establish and implement aneducational program for the purpose of educating public officials and employeesand the general public about the ethical standards embodied in the Rhode Islandcode of ethics in government, which program may include the preparation anddissemination of brochures, other publications and the conduct of workshops andseminars.

   (b) The educational program authorized by this section shallbe established by the commission in the exercise of the rulemaking authorityconferred by § 36-14-9(a)(3).

   (c) The commission may, by rule or regulation, delegate toits executive director (or other designated employee) such authority as it maydeem necessary for the implementation of the educational program authorized bythis section.
