SECTION 36-3-8

   § 36-3-8  Organization and meetings ofboard – Compensation of members. – The board shall elect one of its members chairperson. Each member shall takethe oath of office before entering upon the duties of the office. Members ofthe board shall be reimbursed for necessary travel and other expenses and eachmember of the board shall be paid an annual salary of seven thousand twohundred dollars ($7,200). The board shall meet at times and places as shall bespecified by call of the chairperson or the governor. Notice of each meetingshall be given in writing to each member. Three (3) members shall constitute aquorum for the transaction of business.
