SECTION 37-13-12

   § 37-13-12  Wage records of contractors.– Each contractor awarded a contract with a contract price in excess of onethousand dollars ($1,000) for public works, and each subcontractor who performswork on those public works, shall keep an accurate record showing the name,occupation, and actual wages paid to each worker employed by him or her and thepayments to all the employee funds specified in §§ 37-13-6 and37-13-7 by him or her in connection with the contract or work. The director andhis or her authorized representatives shall have the right to enter any placeof employment at all reasonable hours for the purpose of inspecting the wagerecords and seeing that all provisions of this chapter are complied with.
