§ 37-22-14 Severability. – If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or part of this chapter shall bejudged by any court or competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgmentshall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder thereof, but it shall beconfined in its operation of the clause, sentence, paragraph, section or partdirectly involved in the controversy in which that judgment shall have beenrendered.
