SECTION 37-8-1.6

   § 37-8-1.6  Pawtucket armory. – The state of Rhode Island has determined that it no longer needs the propertyand buildings which once served the people as the Pawtucket armory. The city ofPawtucket has determined that it can use the property and buildings formunicipal purposes. Therefore, notwithstanding any law to the contrary, thedirector of the department of administration is hereby authorized and empoweredto convey the state's entire interest in the Pawtucket armory to the city ofPawtucket. The consideration for the sale is one dollar ($1.00). The city ofPawtucket is responsible for all costs associated with the conveyance.
