   § 39-1.2-2  Excavation or demolition nearpublic utility. – No person, public agency, or public utility shall engage in excavation inapproximate location of public utility facilities or discharge explosives ordemolish a structure containing a public utility facility without having firstascertained in the manner prescribed in this chapter the location of all publicutility facilities or public utilities in the area or the absence thereof.
