§ 39-14-14 Provisions supplemental –Powers of cities and towns. – The provisions of §§ 39-14-1 – 39-14-14 are hereby declared tobe supplementary and in addition to the provisions of other chapters of thistitle, and of title 31, and of §§ 39-14-15 – 39-14-23. Thecities and towns may continue to exercise by ordinance all lawful authorityheretofore exercised by them, not inconsistent with the express provisions ofthis chapter.
