SECTION 39-3-36

   § 39-3-36  Notice of railroad hearing.– On any matter pertaining to railroad clearances, or on any matter wherein thesafety of railroad train personnel is concerned, the public utilitiesadministrator shall, at least ten (10) days before the date of the hearing onthe matter or matters, serve a notice of the time and place of the hearing bymailing a registered letter, postage prepaid, to the Rhode Island staterepresentative of the legislative board of the united transportation union. Toeffectuate the purpose of this section, it shall be the duty of the unitedtransportation union to notify the division, in writing, of the name andaddress of the state representative.
