SECTION 39-7-6

   § 39-7-6  Heating of cars. – No passenger, mail, or baggage car, on any railroad in this state, shall beheated by any method of heating by furnace or heater, unless the furnace orheater shall first have been approved in writing by the division of publicutilities and carriers; provided, however, that in no event shall a commonstove be allowed in a car. Every railroad corporation which shall use any carin violation of the provisions of this section shall be fined one hundreddollars ($100) for every day on which the car shall be used, one half (1/2)thereof to the use of the complainant and one half (1/2) thereof to the use ofthe state.
