§ 4-22-8 Authorization to impound cats.– Animal control officers and their agents are authorized and empowered toimpound any roaming or feral cat at-large and to dispose of the same pursuantto the provisions of § 4-19-12. Licensed animal shelters are authorized toaccept any roaming or feral cat released to them for impoundment and to disposeof the same pursuant to the provisions of § 4-19-12.
