SECTION 40-15-6

   § 40-15-6  Interstate agreements. –The officers and agencies of this state and its subdivisions having authorityto place children are hereby empowered to enter agreements with appropriateofficers or agencies of or in other party states pursuant to paragraph (b) ofarticle V of the interstate compact on the placement of children. Any suchagreement which contains a financial commitment or imposes a financialobligation on this state or subdivision or agency thereof shall not be bindingunless it has the approval in writing of the director of administration.
