SECTION 40-8-6

   § 40-8-6  Review of application forbenefits. – The director or someone designated by him or her shall review each applicationfor benefits filed in accordance with regulations, and shall make adetermination of whether the application will be honored and the extent of thebenefits to be made available to the applicant, and shall within thirty (30)days after the filing notify the applicant, in writing, of the determination.If the application is rejected, the notice to the applicant shall set forththerein the reason therefor. The director may at any time reconsider anydetermination.
