SECTION 41-3-5

§ 41-3-5 Award of dates for Class Aracing. – The application for a Class A license shall be filed on or before the fifteenthday of February in any year and the division of racing and athletics havingconsidered the applications, shall on or before the first day of April in anyyear, assign or award all dates for racing within the state for the currentyear; provided, however, that the division in its discretion, may receiveapplications at a later date and may change the assignment or award if in itsjudgment the change is found necessary, but prior to making the change it shallprint a public notice in the newspapers and shall give the party aggrieved bythe change an opportunity to be heard.
