§ 41-5-5 Separate license for each match– Approval of city or town authorities. – The division of racing and athletics shall, subject to the provisions of thischapter, issue a separate license for each boxing or sparring match andexhibition; provided, however, that no license shall be issued by the divisionwithout the approval of the town council, police commissioner, board of policecommissioners, or other licensing board of the city or town in which the boxingor sparring match or exhibition is to be held.
