SECTION 42-1-2.1

   § 42-1-2.1  Retrocession of Veterans'Administration property. – (a) The governor may accept, on behalf of the state, retrocession ofjurisdiction over Veterans' Administration property within the state, toestablish concurrent jurisdiction between the federal government and the stateover lands and interests, including any roads, highways or other lands andbuildings of the Veterans' Administration, within the city of Providence whereretrocession has been offered by the administrator of Veterans' Affairs onbehalf of the United States.

   (b) Documents concerning such action shall be filed in theoffice of the secretary of state and in the office of the registry of deeds ofthe city of Providence.
