SECTION 42-10-2

   § 42-10-2  Bond of treasurer. – The general treasurer shall, before entering upon the duties of his or heroffice, give bond to the state with sufficient sureties to the satisfaction ofthe governor in the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), for thetrue and faithful discharge of the duties of his or her office; which bondshall be deposited with and kept by the secretary of state.
