SECTION 42-12.3-10

   § 42-12.3-10  Administration. – The department of human services may cooperate through interagency cooperativeagreements, with the department of health and/or other state agencies, and anyother agreements they deem necessary, to assure that health care services foreligible pregnant women and children under the age of eighteen (18) areprovided in an efficient and timely basis. The department of human servicesshall monitor and evaluate the medical services and health outcomes of clientsserved by the RIte Track and RIte Start programs. The department of humanservices shall be responsible for assuring marketing, enrollee relations,quality assurance, provider recruitment, and network development. Thedepartment is hereby authorized to promulgate any and all necessary rules andregulations to carry out the intent of this chapter.
