SECTION 42-14-2.2

   § 42-14-2.2  Reporting – Courtjudgments against licensed physicians, dentists, or dental hygienists. –Within ten (10) days after a judgment by a court of this state that a licensedphysician, dentist, or dental hygienist has committed a crime or is civillyliable for any death or personal injury caused by his or her negligence, erroror omission in practice, or his or her rendering unauthorized professionalservices, the clerk of the court which rendered the judgment shall report thesame to the board of medical licensure and discipline established pursuant tochapter 37 of title 5 or the board of examiners in dentistry establishedpursuant to chapter 31.1 of title 5 and the department of business regulation.
