SECTION 42-16.1-11

   § 42-16.1-11  Legal counsel to board ofreview. – (a) The board of review shall be empowered to appoint and employ a qualifiedattorney, who shall act in accordance with such instructions as he or she mayreceive from the board concerning appeals from its decisions and other relatedduties. Whenever the board of review may or shall become a party to a courtaction, the attorney shall represent its interests before the courts.

   (b) The duly appointed attorney shall serve in this capacityfrom the date of his or her appointment by the board of review, and until hisor her successor is appointed.
