SECTION 42-16.1-16

   § 42-16.1-16  Immunity. – In the absence of fraud, malice or bad faith, no insurer or agent authorized bythe insurer to act on its behalf, employee of the unit, or person providinginformation to the unit, is subject to civil liability for damages as a resultof any statement, report, or investigation made pursuant to chapter 16.1 ofthis title. Nothing in this section interferes with any common law or statutoryprivilege or immunity.
