SECTION 42-16.1-5

   § 42-16.1-5  Education unit –Establishment. – There shall be within the department of labor and training an education unit.The unit shall provide, in convenient locations throughout the state, educationservices to employees and employers concerning the prevention of occupationaldiseases and injuries, training for non-management employees and employers inworkers' compensation procedures, and substantive rights and information toemployers and employees concerning known and suspected workplace hazards. Theunit shall be funded through the workers' compensation administrative fundprovided for in § 28-37-1. The director of labor and training may adoptregulations to implement the provisions of this section.
