SECTION 42-17.1-22

§ 42-17.1-22 Ice safety program. –The department of environmental management is hereby authorized and directed todevelop and implement an ice safety program for elementary school students toinstruct those students in ice safety issues. The department shall establish aprogram for ice safety instructors who shall conduct ice safety programs atelementary schools in the state during the months of October, November andDecember. The department shall develop program content and instructionalmaterial to administer the program.
