SECTION 42-2-4

§ 42-2-4 Forest, wildlife, andrecreational areas. – The consent of the state is hereby given to the acquisition by the UnitedStates or any authorized agency thereof, by purchase, gift, devise, or lease,of those lands or interests in land in this state which the United States oragency may deem necessary or desirable for the purpose of the establishment andmaintenance or of the maintenance of forest, wildlife, park, or recreationalareas in accordance with acts of the congress authorizing the acquisition bythe United States or any agency thereof of lands or interests in land for thispurpose, reserving, however, to this state, over all lands or interests in landso acquired, full and complete jurisdiction and authority not incompatible withthe administration, maintenance, protection, and control thereof by the UnitedStates or agency under the provisions of those acts of the congress.
