§ 42-28.7-3 Penalty. – If, after thirty (30) days after May 17, 1983, the original or any duplicate orphotocopy of the fingerprint records of minors obtained during the course ofany voluntary plan, program or request, remain in the possession of any lawenforcement agency, that law enforcement agency shall pay a penalty of onehundred dollars ($100) for each violation, with the sum being paid into thegeneral treasury of the state of Rhode Island.
