SECTION 42-28-14

   § 42-28-14  Salary limits preserved –Honorable discharges. – Nothing in §§ 42-28-12 and 42-28-13 shall be construed to make itlawful for the superintendent or anyone acting for him or her to incur inbehalf of the state any obligation for salaries in excess of the amountappropriated therefor, and the superintendent shall have the power to honorablydischarge any member of the division of state police, notwithstanding theprovisions of § 42-28-10, and any member so discharged shall be eligiblefor reappointment.
