§ 42-28-17 Vehicles, equipment, andsupplies. – The superintendent shall provide the Rhode Island state police with necessarymotor vehicles, and other suitable equipment, uniforms, and supplies, all ofwhich shall be and remain the property of the state. When any equipment shallbecome unfit for use, he or she shall have power to sell that equipment andshall pay all moneys received therefor to the general treasurer for the use ofthe state.
