SECTION 42-30-9

   § 42-30-9  Lists of appointees –Certificates of appointment. – It shall be the duty of the secretary of state to make a list of all notariespublic and justices of the peace appointed by the governor and duly qualified,and send a copy thereof to each of the clerks of the supreme, superior, andfamily courts and to the clerks of the district courts for the second, third,fourth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth judicial districts, to be kept inthe files of those courts, and the clerks shall, upon application, issuecertificates of office to the person entitled thereto, and shall receive a feeof one dollar ($1.00) for every certificate.
