SECTION 42-45-1

   § 42-45-1  Legislative findings. – The general assembly finds that the historical, architectural, and culturalheritage of the state of Rhode Island should be preserved as a part of our lifeto enrich the experience of present and future generations, and that thecontinued expansion of urban development threatens the existence of ourhistorical sites and structures.
