SECTION 42-56.2-5

   § 42-56.2-5  Cooperation of other agencies.– All state departments and agencies, the director of the department of humanservices and the board of governors for higher education are authorized anddirected to cooperate with the federal surplus property officer in carrying outthe provisions of this chapter. The board of regents for elementary andsecondary education is authorized to assign personnel from within thosedepartments at the request of the governor, to assist the federal surplusproperty officer in the acquisition and procurement of equipment, supplies,materials, and other personal property pursuant to the provisions of §42-56.2-1.
