SECTION 42-64-7.10

   § 42-64-7.10  Preservation and support ofthe fishing industry and other current uses at Newport and Galilee. – With respect to the ports of Newport and Galilee, the department ofenvironmental management shall maintain, manage and operate these ports in amanner that is consistent with their current use, for not less than ninety-nine(99) years, so that the commercial fishing industry is guaranteed the use ofnot less than the current portion of these ports as is currently being employedto support the commercial fishing industry and to guarantee the commercialfishing industry not less than the current amount of dockage being occupied onJuly 7, 1999.
