SECTION 42-64-9.5

   § 42-64-9.5  Hearings. – At all hearings held under the provisions of this chapter, the Rhode Islandeconomic development corporation and its members shall have the right toadminister oaths. All persons testifying at the hearings shall do so under oathand under penalty of perjury. The corporation shall have the right to issuesubpoenas to compel the appearance of witnesses and/or the production of anybooks, records, or other documents. Any person may be represented by counsel atthe hearing. The corporation may adjourn the hearings from time to timewhenever the adjournment shall in its opinion, be necessary or desirable. Thetestimony adduced at the hearing shall be transcribed by a stenographer.
