§ 42-72.2-4 Cooperation of other stateagencies with the family support program. – (a) The department of health shall develop agreements with the department ofchildren, youth, and families, the department of elementary and secondaryeducation, the department of human services, and the department of mentalhealth, retardation, and hospitals to delineate the role and function of eachdepartment. In order to carry out the provisions of this chapter, each of theforegoing departments shall assign a staff person who will assumeresponsibility for implementation of the program and each department shallprovide statistical and analytical data needed to carry out the provisions ofthis chapter.

(b) Each of the foregoing departments shall enter into anagreement with the family support program and shall join with the program in acooperative effort to carry out the provisions of § 42-72.2-2.
