SECTION 42-72-24

§ 42-72-24 Law revision by law revisionoffice of the joint committee on legislative services. – All general and public laws affected by this chapter shall be revised, amended,consolidated and conformed by the law revision office of the joint committee onlegislative services. Wherever in general and public laws reference is made tothe functions of the department of human services, the department ofcorrections, the department of mental health, retardation, and hospitals, andthe department of community affairs which are transferred to the department ofchildren, youth, and families, the law revision office of the joint committeeon legislative services shall revise, amend, consolidate, and conform thosereferences to the plan to effectuate the purpose and intent of the plan.General and public laws, when so revised, amended, consolidated, and conformed,shall be published in the general and public laws as provided by chapter 134 ofthe Public Laws, 1969.
