SECTION 44-23-7

   § 44-23-7  Fees of probate clerk. –The probate clerk furnishing the information required by § 44-23-6 is paidout of any money appropriated for expenses of tax administration a fee offifteen cents ($.15) for every hundred words of copy, but the tax administratormay in his or her discretion make copies of the documents or of any otherrecords of the probate court. If the copies are found by the probate clerk tobe correct, the clerk shall certify to their correctness and be paid a fee oftwenty-five cents ($.25) for each certification. All fees paid to a probateclerk under this section are disposed of in the same manner as is provided forthe disposition of other probate fees under the provisions of chapter 22 oftitle 33.
