SECTION 44-3-23

§ 44-3-23 Narragansett – Taxexemptions in the town. – The town council of the town of Narragansett may, by ordinance, grant anexemption on real property located within the town and owned and occupied byany person sixty-five (65) years of age or older at the rate of one hundredtwenty-five dollars ($125) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of valuation. Eachexemption to all other persons granted on property in the town of Narragansettis at the rate of fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per one thousand dollars($1,000.00) of valuation for each exemption granted to a taxpayer.
