SECTION 44-3-47

   § 44-3-47  Cranston – Economicdevelopment tax incentive program Exemptions. – The city council of the city of Cranston may, by ordinance, provide exemptionsfrom assessed valuation for real and tangible personal property of propertyowners or businesses which create jobs in the city of Cranston and any propertyowners or businesses for any retrofit, expansion, or renovation of specificallypermitted uses; provided, that the exemption shall be for a period of not morethan ten (10) years.
