§ 45-16-4.2 Action on bond of constables.– Any person injured by the breach of the bond of any constable, may commence anaction in the name of the clerk of the district court, for his or her own use,under like circumstances and in the same manner and subject to the sameprovisions as that person might do in the name of the general treasurer upon abond given by the sheriff, if the person were injured by the breach of the bond.
