§ 45-31-16 Continuation of agenciescreated under prior law. – Any redevelopment agency created pursuant to prior law shall be and constitutesthe redevelopment agency for the community within the meaning of chapters 31– 33 of this title, and has all of the rights, powers, duties, andexemptions provided for a redevelopment agency under chapters 31 – 33 ofthis title, and, notwithstanding any other provision of those chapters, noother redevelopment agency shall be created for the community.
