SECTION 45-48-6

   § 45-48-6  Water shut off for nonpayment ofcharges. – In the case of nonpayment of any water rates, charges, and penaltiesestablished and required to be paid to the district for water supplied or usedby the owner, tenant, or occupant of any house, building, tenement, or estate,the district is authorized by its agents and servants to shut off the water asand when it may deem advisable, and the district shall not be compelled tosupply water again to the owner, tenant, or occupant of the house, building,tenement, or estate, until all charges and penalties due and unpaid to thedistrict have been paid in full.
