§ 45-57-1 Creation – Corporatepowers. – (a) There is hereby created a special preservation and management district tobe known as the Winnisimet Farm Road District.
(b) The district consists of those lots of record listed onthe town of Tiverton tax assessor's plat map 1-7 Block 179, including cardsnumbered:
(c) The district includes privately owned lots as well ascommon properties owned by the Winnisimet Farm Association, including ponds,beach accesses, open land and streets and associated improvements, to wit,Hamilton Circle, Indian Point Road, Penny Pond Road, Winnisimet Drive,Arrowhead Drive and Sachem Road.
(d) Lots owned by the Winnisimet Farm Association as commonproperty are not lots of record for purposes of voting rights or assessments.
(e) Should any lots be created for future individualownership, either from common property owned by the Winnisimet FarmAssociation, or from privately owned property, such newly created lots will belots of record under the provisions of this act, with future owners incurringall rights and obligations of this chapter.
(f) As used in this chapter, the term "Winnisimet FarmAssociation" means that neighborhood association previously incorporated underthe laws of this state as a nonprofit corporation, which corporation owns thecommon properties and roads within the district.
(g) The district may have a common seal, sue and be sued, andenjoy the powers generally incident to corporations.
