§ 46-12-15 Inspection powers – Rulesand regulations. – The director shall have full powers to inspect, and make orders regulating anddirecting all methods, means, and devices employed on any steamer or othervessel in the waters of the state, or at any installation on land, inreceiving, carrying, storing, heating, handling or discharging any petroleum,gasoline, kerosene, tar, oil, or any product or mixture thereof; and thedirector may by order establish all rules and regulations to prevent thedischarge or escape of any of the substances into the waters of the state.
