SECTION 46-13.2-12

   § 46-13.2-12  Severability. – If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this chapter shall for anyreason be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, thatjudgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder thereof, butshall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, or partthereof, directly involved in the controversy in which the judgment shall havebeen rendered.
