SECTION 46-15.3-8

   § 46-15.3-8  Notice of imposition of charge– Actions to contest validity. – Notice of the imposition of the water quality protection charge shall bepublished once in a newspaper of general circulation in the state of RhodeIsland at some time subsequent to the imposition of the water qualityprotection charge. Actions to contest the validity of the proceedings for theimposition of the water quality protection charge must be commenced withinsixty (60) days after the date of the notice, and no action thereaftercommenced shall raise any question concerning the validity of the proceedingsand imposition of the water quality protection charge. After the expiration ofthe period of sixty (60) days, the validity of the proceedings and theimposition of the water quality protection charge shall be conclusivelypresumed.
