SECTION 46-24-5

   § 46-24-5  Officers and employees of board.– The chairperson of the board shall be selected by the majority vote of themembers of the board. The board shall appoint a secretary and treasurer whomay, or may not, be members of the board and such other employees as may benecessary in its judgment and fix their compensation.
