SECTION 46-25-15

   § 46-25-15  Cooperation with federalgovernment. – (a) The commission shall have full and complete authority to cooperate with andassist the federal government in all matters relating to the planning,constructing, equipping, maintenance, and operation of the project in the eventthat the federal government should make any federal funds or federal assistanceavailable therefor.

   (b) The commission, or any officers or executives designatedby it, may act as an agent of the federal government in accordance with therequirements of any federal legislation related to that federal assistance.

   (c) The commission is hereby authorized to accept theprovisions of any federal legislation related to federal assistance, and mayfile written evidence of each acceptance with the federal government. Eachacceptance shall be duly signed by the chairperson or such other person orpersons as the commission may designate.

   (d) The commission may enter into all necessary contracts andagreements with the federal or state governments, or any agency thereof,necessary or incident to the project, and all the contracts and agreementsshall be signed in the name of the commission by the chairperson or some otherperson or persons designated by the commission.
