SECTION 46-25-28

   § 46-25-28  Conduct of hearings. – At all hearings held under the provisions of this chapter, the commission andthe members thereof, shall have the right to administer oaths. All personstestifying at the hearings shall do so under oath and under penalty of perjury.The commission shall have the right to issue subpoenas to compel the appearanceof witnesses and/or the production of any books, records, or other documents.Any person may be represented by counsel at the hearing. The commission mayadjourn the hearings from time to time, whenever the adjournment shall, in itsopinion, be necessary or desirable. The testimony adduced at the hearing shallbe transcribed by a stenographer.
