§ 46-9.1-3 Pilotage commission –Control – Compensation. – (a) The Rhode Island state pilotage commission created under the provisions ofchapter 9 of this title, entitled "Pilots", shall have control and jurisdictionover pilotage of vessels entering or departing from any port or landing placeof the state or transversing the waters of Block Island Sound.

(b) Members of the commission shall not be compensated fortheir services on the board, but shall be entitled to the reimbursement oftheir travel expenses.
