SECTION 5-29-29

   § 5-29-29  Time and notice of hearing.– The time of the hearing shall be fixed by the board as soon as is practical.The board shall issue a notice of the hearing of the charges, which noticeshall specify the time and place of the hearing and notify the accused that heor she may file with the board a written response within twenty (20) days ofthe date of service. The notice shall also notify the accused that astenographic record of the proceedings shall be kept, that he or she shall havethe opportunity to appear personally and to have counsel present, with theright to produce witnesses and evidence in his or her own behalf, to crossexamine witnesses, to examine any documentary evidence that is produced againstthe accused, and to have subpoenas issued by the board.
